Too Faced La Creme Lipstick Lollipop Review
Overall, Too Faced La Creme lipsticks are absolutely fabulous. More specifically, this shade is creamy, build-able, and it smells like a lemon bar. I love lemon bars almost as much as I love lipstick. ;)
The packaging, as you can see, is stunning. It’s gold, high quality, and has a nice weight to it, which makes it feel expensive (and it IS).
The shade, Lollipop, is duo-chrome with pink and blue… and sparkle. It’s described as “violet with orchid shimmer”. It actually has glitter in it. At first, I wasn’t sure I was going to keep it, because it was so sparkly… but it quickly grew on me. I can’t feel the glitter on my lips though, which is a major plus.
This formula is not at all drying- though I wouldn’t say it’s hydrating either. It’s neutral. This formula reminds me a lot of the Revlon Lip Butters. It has slightly longer staying power, and the texture is a bit more luxurious.
Here are some quick details:
- $22 for 3 g/.11 oz
- 22 shade options
- check the Too Faced website for more details
- “Infused with White Lotus Flower Extract to hydrate, soothe and condition the lips.”
I can imagine that a darker color would cause some bleeding, so if that tends to be an issue for you, I’d recommend you wear it with a lip liner or primer.
I would certainly recommend this product! If you have the pennies to spend, I’d suggest you check out this line of lipsticks!
Have you tried these? Which shades are your favorite??
