Here’s what Stila has to say about this tinted moisturizer:
This revolutionary oil-free, water-resistant, tinted moisturizer multitasks as a skin-hydrating, skintone-perfecting, SPF-protecting complexion enhancer. The micro-fine light diffusing pigments create a sheer wash of natural color and help diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Its oil-free formula melts right into the skin and dries down, creating a gorgeous glow without the tackiness or greasiness.
Other key benefits include:
Oil-free illuminating moisturizer with SPF 20 protection
Light-diffusing pigments help diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles
Hyaluronic Acid helps increase hydration levels of the skin”
As you can see in the photos below, they are certainly right when they say this product has SHEER coverage.
I really don’t have much to say about this… it is a typical tinted moisturizer, with a good amount of SPF and shimmer. Yes, I said shimmer. When you’re in direct sunlight, you may look like a Cullen, but any other time, you cannot see the shimmer, just a “glow”.
This is a great product for a day when you want very natural, light makeup. It would also be great for a day at the beach/pool, you know, if you don’t mind the shimmer. ;) This is also nice for the cooler, more dry months, as it is nice and hydrating on the skin.
Here’s with the tinted moisturizer… just applied with my fingers. :) Oh, and did I mention this product is sheer (it is not at all build-able, either)? Perhaps once or twice?
Overall, my feelings are pretty neutral when it comes to this product. I’ll definitely use it, but I probably won’t repurchase it. If you are someone who is looking for this kind of tinted moisturizer that will slightly even out your skin tone, give you sun protection, and bit of a glow, then I’d say try this out! However, if your budget is tight, you have oily skin, or you are wanting some heavy coverage, I think you’d better pass this by.
What do you think? Are high end products worth the money to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts!!
Thanks for coming by!!
