Spring Makeup Pairings: Bright Eye Liner and Bright Lips
I think the combination of a simple eye lined in a poppy color with a bold, beautiful mouth is perfect and fresh for spring. We’re making our way out of a cold winter… time to throw some color on our faces! If any of these looks are a “bit much” for you, why not try just the lip, or just the liner? Easy and done! For each eye look, I used my *NEW* Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay to create a very soft, lightly defined crease and lid color, as to complement and not distract from the bright eye liner. For this first pairing, I used a cobalt blue eye liner and lined all around my eyes, then I smudged it a bit, and topped it with an eye shadow in an even brighter shade of blue. On my lips, I applied this beautiful cool-toned (radiant orchid) lipstick to compliment the blue.

I love the combination of a cool toned, pretty lavender with a bright, warm coral lips. I smudged the liner along my upper lashes and winged it out a bit, then topped it with a matte lavender eye shadow.
Lips: Maybelline Lipstick in Cool Watermelon (I got this one quite a while ago, so it may not be available any longer. Just use your favorite coral!)
Purple and yellow is a classic combination, since they are contrasting shades on the color wheel… in fact, most of these pairings are. ;) I’ve always wanted to try yellow eye liner, and I’m glad I finally did! This look is one of my faves of the group! To get the yellow liner without buying one, I used a white eye liner, and topped it with a bright yellow eye shadow.
Liner: Ulta Kohl Eye Liner in Halo (topped with a bright yellow shadow from my Coastal Scents 88 Eye Shadow Palette)
Kelly green and hot pink are a pretty combo for spring… I think I like it so much because it reminds me of watermelon. ;) I lined all around my eyes with a shimmery green liner, I added some matte green shadow on top of the eyeliner along my upper lash line, and smudged some shimmery green shadow along my lower lash line.
Lips: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart
Teal and orange scream summer to me, so I had to do a look with them! This is one of my very favorite color combinations. I lined along my top line with liner, along with a matte teal shadow. Then, I took the liner just along my lower waterline.
Lips: Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipstick in 24 Carrot Gold
