Sleek Vintage Romance Eye Shadow: One Palette 7 Looks

Here it is! Another one palette, many looks post! These are my favorite posts to create, despite the fact that they are the most involved and time consuming, and it would seem that these posts are among your favorites as well. I’ve challenged myself to create seven different eye shadow looks using ONLY the shadows in the palette!

This palette has some gorgeous, pigmented, buttery shadows and I had a great time working with them! These colors would be lovely on all eye colors… the berry tones make green eyes pop, the purples will highlight brown eyes, and the golden shades contrast beautifully with blue eyes. This palette is only $12 and is available at www.sleekmakeup.com

On to the eye shadow looks…

On my lips- NYX Matte Lip Cream in “Prague” (here’s my review: NYX Prague Soft Matte Lip Cream)

  1. I used the shade “Propose in Prague” as a transition shade, which means I applied it with a fluffy brush into and just above the crease.
  2. For a highlight on the inner part of the lid and around the tear duct, I applied “Meet in Madrid”
  3. I applied “Marry in Monte Carlo” all over my eyelid, staying just below the crease.
  4. In the outer corner of my eyelid and crease, I added “Love in London” to darken and add more dimension.
  5. Along the lower lash line, I applied “Marry in Monte Carlo”.
  6. I finished the look with the e.l.f. black cream eyeliner and lots of mascara.

On my lips- Wet n’ Wild Mega Last Lipstick in “Cinnamon Spice”

  1. I started by applying “Pretty in Paris” as a highlight around the inner tear duct of my eyes and a bit onto my lids.
  2. Next, I added “Meet in Madrid” all over my eye lids.
  3. I applied “Court in Cannes” on the outer third of my lids.
  4. To add some depth and smokiness, I added “Love in London” to the outer corners of my crease.
  5. I used “Love in London” to line my eyes, both along my upper lash line and lower lash line. I finished with lots of mascara.

To make this a perfect New Year’s or Christmas party look, you could add a shimmer top coat to your eye lids and some false lashes.

  4. I applied “Love in London as eye liner along my top lash line and on the outer 3rd of my lower lash line.

On my lips- Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick in “Lust for Blush” (Here’s my review: Maybelline Lust for Blush Matte Lipstick Review)

  1. I started by applying “Forever in Florence” all over each lid and a bit into the crease. I also added this shade to the outer part of my lower lash line.
  2. I applied “Propose in Prague” lightly as a transition shade just above the crease. I then applied this shade along my lower lash line.
  3. Next, I added “Lust in LA” into my crease to blend out my lid color.
  4. Last, I applied “Pretty in Paris” into my inner corners as a highlight.
  5. I finished with some black eye liner on my top lash line and in my water line (which is the inner part of your lash line) and applied lots of mascara. This would be a great look to add some false lashes to since it’s so dramatic and dark.

Whew! I made it through seven looks with this palette! I challenge you to come up with some of your own!

Which look is your favorite??
