My Current Wishlist: Beauty Tools
1. The new Clarisonic Mia Fit, $189 (from Sephora)
I think just about everyone as heard of the classic facial cleansing brush, the Clarisonic. It has rave reviews and a cult following… and now the company has come out with a new version… a version that has finally caught my eye. I love the size and the shape of this sweet little brush! It comes in three shades, the simple and clean white is my favorite, of course. The size makes this brush perfect for travel and great for every day use… taking up only a bit of space in your bathroom cupboard. Yes… one of these days, I’d like to join the Clarisonic band wagon.
2. Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Styler, $50 (from Ulta)
Doesn’t this brush hair dryer seem like a great idea?? No need to balance a heavy hair dryer and a brush. I’m terrible at blow-drying my hair… and I do it very infrequently, so this seems like a great option for me! I can see a need to follow this with a hair straightener, because I cannot imagine it leaving my hair free of it’s signature frizz. I’ll certainly post a review of this if I get my hands on it one of these days. :)
3. Personal Microderm Pro, $199 (from Sephora)
I’ve read some wonderful reviews on these PMD devices. While I am certified to do microdermabrasion, and would love to offer it to clients in the future at some point, this is not a service that I can perform on myself! I’d love to give this baby a try. Benefits are similar to having a professional service done, softer texture of skin, more even pigmentation, exfoliation, etc. As long as your skin isn’t super sensitive, it will thank you for a treatment from a PMD every couple of weeks and I’ll bet you’ll see some positive results! Plus, this comes in a beautiful taupe color… what’s not to love?
