Lipstick Pairings: My Current Favorites
I’ve been playing around with different lip combos, just for fun… and I’ve discovered some real favorites. Just thought I’d share those with you. Do you ever try out different lip product combinations? Any success?? ;)
1. I’ll start with a purple lip look, because that is pretty much what I’ve been obsessed with lately. I started with my Smashbox lipstick in “vivid violet”, and I topped it off with my NYX gloss in “cosmo” to add some sparkle and shine. 2. This pairing is for hot pink lips! I layered two Hard Candy lip products: the glossy lip pencil is in “babe”, and the giant lip gloss is in the shade “fireball”. This look is just so fun to wear if you really want to make a statement with your lips. ;) 3. Feeling adventurous? So was I… so I decided to just go for it and try out ombre lips. I feel like the pinkish red and bright orange make my lips look like a sunset! I started with applying Wet n Wild lipstick in “24 carrot gold” to the center of my lips, and then toward the outer corners, I applied another Wet n Wild lipstick in “Cherry Picking”. 4. I think bright red lipstick with a pop of gold sparkle is perfect for this time of year. What is more Christmasy than red and gold? I’ve been wearing these two together a lot: Wet n Wild “purty persimmon” and Rimmel “vinyl bronze”. 5. This is a fabulous deep wine lip for this season. I love Too Faced la creme lipsticks… they smell delicious and are super creamy. I wore this one, called “divine wine” with a metallic gloss by Wet n Wild in “red sensation”. 6. This is an odd looking pair, I know, and I discovered it accidentally… but I really do like it. I started with Wet n Wild in “cherry bomb” and topped it with Wet n Wild in “fuchsia with blue pearl” for an unexpected, but fun shine. :) 7. This next pairing is for another fun ombre look! I love this purple gradient… it’s just too fun. Why not, right? For this look, I love to wear these two lipsticks together: Wet n Wild “ferguson crest cabernet” on the outer corners, and Wet n Wild “mauve outta here” on the inner part of my lips. 8. I am leaving you with one last purple pairing… the Milani “grape-tini” has some gold shimmer in it, so it’s also beautiful with a shimmery gold gloss, like what I use: Rimmel “vinyl bronze”. What are your favorite lip product pairings? Please do share!!
