Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer Review
This concealer claims to be heavy duty. Well, let me let you in on a little secret: it IS! It may be a liquid, but it’s THICK and has really great coverage.
The Low Down-
- Comes in 5 shades: ultra light, light, medium light, medium, and tan (when I purchased mine, there were only three shades… I own light and medium. Medium is too dark for me and not the right undertone.)
- more info available at hardcandy.com
- can be purchased only at walmart and walmart.com
This comes with tons of product! This will stretch your dollar even more, because you really only need a small amount. Yes, in this case, a little really does go a long way. I have not tried to, but I’ve heard that you can cover tattoos with this concealer… I’ll let you know if it works someday when I get a tattoo. ;) Has anyone tried it??
The staying power of this is pretty decent. It totally depends upon the foundation you’re wearing though… just as it does with blush, bronzer, etc. Just make sure to set it with a light powder to keep it around even longer. And of course, don’t ever touch your face. ;)
This concealer can tend to separate after you’ve had it a while, so be sure to massage the tube to mix up the product every once in a while… or you’ll just squeeze oil out of it when you go to apply it (gross).
In the photos below, I applied concealer only to my right (your left) eye.
This is not a total must-have product for me (because I’m pretty much obsessed with “Bo-oing” concealer by Benefit), but it is really nice. It’s great for covering blemishes or acne, and can be used under the eyes (as long as you only use a small amount of product and set it with powder! Or, it WILL crease… as you can see in the photo above!).
What is your favorite concealer?
