Fresh Spring Makeup Look
This is a simple, glowy makeup look for spring. It will look pretty on any and everyone. This look really brightens my face and makes me look more awake… great makeup for sick days as well.
For shimmery eyes, I applied the e.l.f. baked eye shadow in “toasted”, a rose gold/bronze shade, in my crease and outer corner for a bit of definition. I also smudged a small amount along my lower lash line. Then, I added Stila “kitten” eye shadow, a shimmery light champagne, all over the center of my lid and my inner corners to highlight.
I skipped the eye liner to keep it simple, and applied a ton of Maybelline “the rocket” mascara (in waterproof!) on my top and bottom lashes.
For my cheeks, I did a little bronzing/contouring using my e.l.f. bronzer blush duo in “antigua”. Use the bronzer side sparingly, because it’s crazy pigmented. I applied the blush shade to my cheeks. I highlighted along my cheek bones and the center of my face using my e.l.f. “gotta glow” blush. It looks white in the photo, but it blends out to be more of a white gold on the skin. For my lips, I wanted a light, natural shade. I went for this light pink gloss with a bit of shimmer, and lots of shine to make my lips look a bit more full and plump. I used Essence Stay with Me Gloss in “deep rose”. It’s not really long lasting as the name of the gloss implies, but it’s more moisturizing than lipstick and is low hassle to reapply.
