These are my favorite posts to put together. Here, I show you how a simple, inexpensive eye shadow quad can be used to create 5 different eye shadow looks to suit any occasion or mood. :) Let me know which ones are your favorite!!

This first look is a classic, four shadow look. I used this one how the palette was intended to be used, with the lid color, crease shade, and the darkest shade to deepen the crease with the lightest color as a highlight. My lipstick is Jordana Modern Matte in “Matte Frappuccino”.

  1. First I applied a cream eyeshadow to help with the pigmentation: Maybelline Color Tattoo in “Inked in Pink”
  2. I applied the taupe color all over my lids.
  3. Next, I added the matte grey into my crease for definition. I also applied this color along my lower lash line.
  4. I deepened the outer part of my crease with the darkest shade. This adds more dimension to the eyes.
  5. Last, I used the champagne color as a highlight near the inner corners of my eyes.
  6. I finished with black eye liner and mascara.

This second eye shadow look is very light and fresh. It’s even more simple to create. I went with a light pink lip color to keep the look bright.

  1. This time, I applied the first champagne color all over my lids and into my inner corners to highlight.
  2. I used the second taupe shade in my crease for subtle dimension.
  3. I finished with black liner and mascara, of course!

I went for a more smoky eye for my third look since my Hubby and I were going out for dinner (three cheers for date night). For a nod to the 90’s, I decided to wear a brown lip color with this grey eye shadow. My lip color here is: ColourPop Lippie Stix in “Tootsi”.

  1. First, I applied the matte grey all over my eye lids and up into the crease.
  2. Next, I used the champagne color to blend out the grey in the crease area.
  3. I finished with black eye liner and mascara.

This fourth look is dark and dramatic, great for a night out. I highly recommend starting with your eye makeup for this look, because I had quite a bit of fall-out (black flecks of powder under my eyes and on my cheeks) and it got a bit messy. I went for a brown lip color for fun. I wore: Jordana Modern Matte in “Matte Frappuccino” topped with Revlon Lacquer Balm in “Coy”.

  1. I started with a cream shadow to increase the pigmentation of the eye shadow. I used Maybelline Color Tattoo in “Silver Strike”.
  2. I applied the dark charcoal all over each lid and blended slightly into the crease.
  3. Next, I used the taupe color with a fluffy brush and I blended it into the crease to soften the charcoal color.
  4. I finished with black liner and lots of mascara. This would be a great to look to add some false lashes to if you’d like to make your lashes pop more against the dark eye shadow.

This look is the more simple of all. It’s quick, easy, and one of my favorites of the bunch! I went for a purple lip to wear with this simple eye shadow look. Here, I am wearing: L’OrĂ©al Extraordinaire Lip Gloss in “Purple Prelude”. This single shadow look is multidimensional because of the shimmer. It catches the light in on the lid and looks deeper in the crease.

  1. To increase the pigmentation, I started with a cream eye shadow stick, Milani Shadow Eyez in “Sand Dunes”. I applied this all over my eye lids and a little into the crease.
  2. I topped the cream eye shadow with the taupe color and blended it slightly into my crease.
  3. Once again, I finished this look with black eye liner and mascara.
