Nope, you’re not off the hook when you’re camping or on vacation… you’ve still got to take care of your skin! Even if you do not wear makeup while on your trip, it’s important to rid your skin of dirt, oil, sweat, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. My routine when I’m camping or at the beach is pretty simple (for me it is!) and quick. Check it out!
Camping Skin Care Routine
1) Makeup Removing Wipes- These are a great way to cleanse your face when you don’t have access to running water. If you do have plenty of water, go ahead and pack a normal cleanser. These are also nice to use if you’re traveling on a plane. (Pictured: Yes to Coconuts Cleansing Wipes.)
2) Toner- I love this gel formulation, which is perfect for travel. This isn’t absolutely a necessity if you can bring a normal cleanser with you, but since I’m using wipes, I’m going to use this toner along side to make sure my skin is fully cleansed. 3) Moisturizer- I like to bring along an oil. This will work as both a day and night moisturizer for me. In the morning, I top the oil with SPF, which is important if your moisturizer doesn’t already contain an SPF. A bonus is that I also use this oil in my hair! The more multi-use products you can take, the more space you’ll save! :) (Pictured: Andalou Naturals Oil Control Beauty Balm and Olivia Care Jojoba Oil.)
